Quilted hearts

Quilted hearts embellished with handmade roses.

Using heart template cut of freezer paper I used all kind of red fabric scraps: iron-fold-stitch-trim - simple freezer paper technique!

 Made a sandwich and quilted all hearts.

 Put together face to face, inserted ribbon and stitched all over leaving a little opening to turn it inside out. Stuffed it polyfiber stuffing and hand-stitched the opening on the side.

 Embellished with roses using glue gun. 

These are my last year little Valentine coasters.

And this is my favorite Valentine pillow with dimensional hearts. I had so many compliments and wows, so I made a pattern and wrote a tutorial on it. You can find it on Craftsy.
