I love this book and I have one for myself too! It's incredibly good and useful book, I just love it! If you do hand quilting you definitly need this book! It has a lot of patterns including feathers and different other styles of continuous line for stitching. And all of those patterns can be also used for free-motion stitching on your machine! There is also a nice gallery with beautiful quilts in it.
It also has good tutorial in pictures for hand quilting! You will love it and everybody wants at least to try hand stitching - right?In addition to this book I would like to encourage you to try English paper piecing with kit including a pattern for wall hanging "Blooming baskets" (20"x60") and a set of 20 hexagons (1") with full instruction.
